About

I was introduced to photography as a five year old, when I joined my big brother in his darkroom in Brooklyn, New York. That little red light and the cozy feeling captured my heart. My passion for photography evolved through many stages, from copying original family photos for people, to capturing families of today in black and white and then selectively hand-coloring them the old-fashioned way, using photo oil colors (Heirloom Family Portraits).

Many of these portraits made the cover of Parent Magazine, and also were published twice in Studio Photography Magazine (alongside Anne Geddes images).  My latest winning competition was a two hour cruise for 20 on the Schooner Olad in Maine.  Currently, my digital photography is all about the beauty around us, here and on travels. A bare wall is a wasted wall. I've always believed in surrounding myself  with dreams. Why not vacation every day of your life? Photography on your walls can do that for you. You deserve some beautiful art in your life. Wishing you happy thoughts!
